    I remember that moment. When we had our first I was like “Dang, what did we do with all of our free time?”, when we had our second I thought “Dang, what did we do with all of our free time when we only had one?”…When we became foster parents to a teen I thought “Wow, ok, now this is busy!!!” Congratulations!

I am 6.5 weeks into being a mom to two kids and though it is trying at times (such as both kids crying at the same time but for different reasons) I really have never been happier. I wish the same happiness for you and your lovely wife! Congrats to the Capen family! And does Finn know yet? How’s he taking the news?

  • So, so happy for you…The first 18 months is a bit tough, but after that having two is so much easier than one – I went all the way to having four. Now that they are almost grown, I know I would do it all over again if given the choice. Congratulation – just please don’t name it George.

  • I remember that ‘happy surprise’ when we found out with kid #3 !

    We were debating if we wanted a third baby – and had almost decided NOT – and then saw we were pregnant.

    He’s now 4 years old – and is a total delight.
