Say Goodnight

Posted under NOTEBOOK

I don’t feel like being funny or clever or inspirational or right or wrong or angry or sad or political or fatherly or parental or protective or judgmental.

Donald Trump is a joke. But it’s never been funny.

Sorry, America. I’m tired.

I’m going to pick my kids up from school. I’m going sit with them. And I’m going to tell them it’s no longer optional to dream big, fail fast and make learning a lifelong quest. Being smart is not elitist. Failing fast is not a character flaw. Dreaming big cannot be a self-centered activity.

We have work to do.

Harry and Hedwig. Back together again.

I was getting mad at all your cheerful instagrams yesterday. I was waiting for something like this, so thank you.

Regardless of who becomes President of the United States, there is only so much damage (or good) they can realistically do in one or two terms in office. It kills me when I see people crying like they lost a family member after their Presidential candidate loses at election time.
