Frequency of Saying the Word Poop Funny Graph

We all know what our top words and phrases are, the ones that would make us filthy stinking rich “if I had a dollar for every time I’ve said… ”

You’ll find your vacubalury and speech change direction dramatically once you become the proud owner of your very own, brand new little human. After you’ve got a few thousand miles on your parental odometer, your eyes may bulge a bit when you realize how many friggin times you’ve used some of them.

“Poop” is the example graphicalized here, but it’s not just baby and kid related words, like “swaddle,” “wipes” or “snack.” It’s also the cute-ified words like “potty” and “uppies”; phrases like “you’re okay” and “five minute warning” and “don’t touch that”; and all the strangled replacements for swearwords.

And then, of course, there are also the things you never thought you (or any human being) would ever have to say in a million billion trillion years.

I don’t think my graph dipped that much when I was a single adult – I just like to talk about poop, okay! It is the one thing we all have in common!

And now I’m left wondering, have you ever considered cross-posting some of this stuff on daddit? Or would you feel like a prostitute for that? I mean, it would generate traffic, which is a fancy internet word for money. Except you get to to go to the White House and other fancy stuff, so if you’re a prostitute, you’re at least like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

That got weird…uhhh…have a nice day.

Boy, I don’t know if I’ve talked about poop as much as I’ve heard about it since having kids. Insane how much it cracks them up. We used to try curtailing the poop talk a bit, but I eventually accepted it. Heck, they can’t be blamed… intestinal relief is probably generated the first smile of every person in the world.

    Love the graphic.
