Car trips can be the ultimate test of one’s parental wizardry, since you’re traveling away from home, in foreign territory, and you’ve got to find a place, deal with parking, half-dismantle the straps and clips your little one’s swaddled in, lead them to the restroom, coach them through it, wipe and wash up, and then reverse the whole process just to get back on the road.
