Artist Grows Up and Recreates His Own Drawings 2 Decades Later

For most kids, drawings turn out a bit abstract… Heck! I can call them crappy here since it’s just us adults, right? We’ll soften the word and call them “crapstract” art.

They’re adorable, sure, but raise your hand if your kid has ever handed over a picture they drew for you, that you had absolutely no idea what it was a picture of. ::raises both hands and a leg::

Some kids grow up and stop scribbling and doodling, but some keep at it. Some get really good. Brilliant even.

Here’s a fascinating, quirky perspective on that artistic evolution. Street artist, Telmo Pieper (of Telmo Miel), took drawings he made when he four, and recreated them years and years later in art school.
