“This is us. Frozen washcloths all daynightday long. Two teeth down how many to go???” –Avara

Last week, it was surgery. This week it’s four teeth coming in at the same time. Are they the same thing? Not quite. But this kid has been through the ringer.

Two teeth have made their jagged entrance so far and two more are knocking at the gummy door. We tried freezing some wet facecloths, a trick that worked with me and my brother but not my little Finnegan, and Arden gnawed on them (pictured) like a vampire at a hemophiliac’s conference.

He’s getting his teeth so much faster than Finn, but it’s all within the timetable. It’s a reminder that fleeting is the name of the game with kids. Fleeting and bleating.

Try ice cubes made from week chamomile tea & then wrapped in a cloth. Or even just the frozen wash clothes but dipped in chamomile. It really helped my little droolers.

Our 6 month old just got two in and two more are working their way out. So far he likes the munchkin fresh fruit feeder with an ice cube in it. He just gnaws on that thing until the cube ls gone.

Honestly the easiest way that I was able to tackle this issue was cutting and freezing my daughter’s favorite fruit (melon) and putting it in a teething feeder (Boon sells a good one in silicone). I soothes the pain and tastes good!

we have these excellent little mesh things we put frozen fruit in, my daughter Hawthorne loves them…they’ve worked well for us!
