My Kid Just Said… #43

These two are ridiculous. Can you even take it?

I’ve told everyone who’s asked that I knew I would have two brothers if we had two kids. Whether it’s karmic or just the luck of the draw, it was an opportunity for me as their dad to be involved in the life of these two boys. I think some of what my brother and I went through would’ve been greatly improved or worked through if my dad had been more hands on. But I wondered if my son would love his baby brother.

These two are obsessed with each other, so far. Of course, all of that could change, but so far there is an unrelenting love present. And it’s sort of mind-blowing.

How much can a brother love his sibling?

My son does this, but doesnt even hold his hands shoulder width apart, he puts them quite close together … but his tone and intention still seem to imply that its a whole lot O.o

My sister and I always said “to the moon and back”

I think my son told me the other day that we should leave his little sister in the basement while we all go play legos upstairs. He is very protective of his sister but can’t stand her most of the time.

One of my favorite quotes is “Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero.” Fits my boys perfectly as they are obsessed with superheroes and they are each others’ heroes.

I have two boys as well (except they’re only 15 months apart – we’re insane, I know). They love each other like crazy too, Max (2.5) is always giving Lucas (15 months) kisses and telling him “I wuv you baby brudder” and Lucas’ first word was “bruh bruh” (brother). They just follow each other around all day alternating between kisses and wrestling over the same toy.

Oh my. More than McQueen? That is a lot! My boys both get very mad if one has a McQueen or dusty and one doesn’t. So that statement amazes me. 🙂

    Your boys are beautiful!
My 3 year son tells me that his 1 year old sister is his favorite. He lets her eat his cheese. That’s love.

My oldest son asked if 3 boys can marry one woman because he wanted to make sure he and his two little brothers can always live together.
