Personal hygiene can experience a “low” when people become parents. Low like The Great Depression. All the hustle and bustle… ::sigh:: At least that’s what I’m blaming it on. My kids.

I caught a ripe whiff this morning when I was at my coffee house and did a ninja-like “look at my shirt while stretching my arm” pit check, wondering if I’d forgotten the deodorant or had a dead animal under my arms. It turned out to be someone else, though. Pungent! But when I got home, the Mrs. was looking at me oddly. Wrinkled nose and flared nostrils odd. My son got into the act and checked my pits. The verdict? Stinky.

I guess the other guy must have kids, too.

oh god, I am SORRY but ewwwwwww!

Too funny! Situations like this is why Spitter Spatter was created- antibacterial and Stain/Odor resistant kids apparel. While we’re still working on t-shirts for parents, at least we’ve got the little ones covered!

I hear ya. Between work, the kids, and errands, its hard to find a minute for it. Just the day wearing on you is bad enough, then you get the baby spitting up on you, right before you gotta run out the door, and at first you gotta run and try to change, but eventually, you just wear it.

Eventually is a very powerful word in the wonderful world of parenting. 😉

Okay, but the WORST is when you’re at baby music class and you can’t figure out whether the BO is coming from that 3yo over there, or the teacher!

My little girl always say’s “Daddy is Fresh” My wife say’s she is she needs to work on her vocabulary.

    • Andy says:

Fresh is the new ripe. It’s an urban slang thing. (Completely making this up of course, put your Google away.)

I often find that one person’s idea of stink is another’s idea of manly. Sweat is okay but unhygienic a very different thing. My kids stink because they seem to be allergic to socks and deodorant. I’m sure you don’t have the same allergy.
