Bad Product Idea #12: BeDoodlers Sleepy-Time Skin Markers (For Adults)

BeDoodlers Sleepy-Time Skin Markers for Adult Funny Bad Product Idea

Picture it. The little ones have finally stopped talking and moving and mess-making and… needing. They’re finally sleeping like the rocks you now feel like you’ve been bombarded with. But after the kid-valanche, things can seem startlingly slow. A little boring even.

Don’t turn to a screen to chill out and wind down, though. BeDoodle your sleeping kid!

BeDoodlers Sleepy-Time Skin Markers can open up a world of fun and creativity! You can draw whatever you like; this isn’t a snobby art class. BeDoodle their faces with swirls or shapes or facial hair or pictures of what you think the little whippersnappers might be dreaming about. Make them into a favorite animal or super hero!

Now, before you climb up on a porch to shake your cane, and shout, “How could you?” Let me answer with another question: “How could you NOT!?!” C’mon! Most of the little goobers will do it to themselves in a microsecond’s eyelash if left alone within arms reach of some writing tool or other. So, relax and enjoy. BeDoodle!

Also, with BeDoodlers, you can even leave messages and reminders for your kids when they wake! If they miss it in the mirror, one of their schoolmates is sure to clue them in. And believe me, a child is going to experience a uniquely powerful form of motivation when a friend of theirs says something like, “Whoa! It says “take out the trash” all over your face!”

but the real question is; how large is the box? would really help if there was a banana added for scale…

  • Laurie says:

    I love the Nontoxic-ish!!!

    • Andy says:

Yay! I’m a big proponent of nontoxic AND making people laugh. So… my work here is done.

  • Keni says:

Fantastic! I need one of those 99 color packs though, 12 is too limiting…

  • Kenny says:

Do I have to limit this to my kids? I’m seeing endless possibilities for use on my husband, as well.

  • Mozleron says:

So, when will this be a real product? My first is due in under 2 months. I’d love to have these by the time she’s old enough to start reading… 🙂

  • I have a Pinterest board entitled “Things I find disturbing yet amusing”. I have placed this image there. I am VERY amused I might add….lol!

Your post just talked me into investing in every color, thank you!!!!!

  • CapitalBabs says:

EVERY single one of my 10 brothers would do this with their kids and not one of them would wait until they were sleeping to do it.. Hilarious!!

    • Andy says:

Thanks! You know what I just realized the BEST part would be, if this product actually existed? The online community of photos of people’s BeDoodle art on their sleeping canvases! Ha ha!

  • Alexandra says:

    Is it bad that I think this would be a cute real product? buahaha, HEY we are getting them used to possible collage ‘fun’ O_o;

    • Andy says:

Not bad at all. I’m now considering a “What If” series of products that aren’t actually bad. But are possibly too weird or fantastical to produce and market. ::sigh:: Also, where are the flying cars already!

  • lesa says:

I wish this was an actual product. However, I would most likely use this on my husband…who sleeps with his mouth open…and snores loudly

    • Andy says:

Husbands across the world would eventually learn to sleep with one eye open. Ha ha! Actually that’s pretty creepy, by the way. Once had a friend who did this, the one eye open while sleeping thing. ::shudders::

      • lesa says:

I have actually been known to sleep with my eyes open, and my daughter does it too. It creeps my husband out, but it came in handy during some of my gen-eds in college.

Wait…other parents don’t do this already?!? Wow, is my face red…well, actually my kids is…but that’s not the point.

  • Jerusha richardson says:

Um….well…my son wanted to be Spider-Man for his 9th birthday. So I had him take his shirt off and I used colorful sharpies to draw all over him….so yeah…I would totally buy these! Lol…wish I could post a picture of ma’ boy he loved it and I was the coolest mom for the whole day!
