When I was preggo we were renting a basement suite and our shower was this tiny little thing, if I wasnt careful my belly would hit the front so I just got in the habit of sitting cross legged on the floor to wash my hair, I am SO happy to have a bathtub again *cries*
ohh how I miss the feeling of clean shaved legs and properly washed hair, but when I think about the reason I no longer have either it doesn’t seem to matter that much..
Not sure I agree about the shower part, but yes on the legs. I dated a girl in my youth who did not shave. At first, a bit of a turn off. And then…totally loved it.
I completely agree. Some days it’s all I can do to get my kids bathed and dressed, and get my teeth brushed. As long as I haven’t worked out, my hair’s not greasy, and I brush my teeth and use deodorant, I’m good to go. Things are different when my husband’s home, but during deployment, it’s all I can do to survive. Forget looking decent, and those silly things called smooth legs? Pretty sure that’s a thing of the past (and future), but for the present, I’m content being a makeupless, hair-in-a-bun, yoga pants wearing, hairy beast.
ugh! I hate not being able to shower and shave. every few days I just put strawberry in the shower with me just so I can clean my hair, It takes roughly 2 hours to do it with her in there, but so worth it, shaved legs however *sigh*.

That nice ,…
Avara Rocks! I tell myself that all the time!
Indeed. I tell myself this all the time. Not sure I’ve 100% convinced myself, however…
I can relate.
Don’t say you disagree if you know what’s good for you. That’s what my inside voice says.
She is absolutely right!!
I like my showers and shaved legs!!! – momma of a 2 and 1 year old and pregnant(due in July) – it’s possible! Hard but possible to shower and shave

Right on sister! LOL
AGREE!
I’m glad someone else feels the same way. =)
Too true! You don’t realize how much you take those simple things in life for granted until you have a baby that occupies all of your time.
Overrated? I don’t know. I just know I’d give anything to have that much time to myself, lol.
Time consuming and definitely not a priority – I will definitely go with that.
Think of it as free contraception!

And that’s EXACTLY why need to affirm ourself with things like these every day.

^Like this. However my “free” contraception attaches to my boob nightly like a lojack system.
Free in quotations cuz I believe it cost us a couple thousand dollars to bring her home from the hospital…
ooops…wrong reply…lol
