This is something that has come up a few times in our relationship, but since it was discussed in the Chicago Tribune, it probably bears repeating.

You have a beautiful family!
Seeing how I was playing with Ninja Turtles from childhood through adolescence and now young adulthood (33yrs old), that analogy would not work for me. I have a feeling Charlie’s in the same boat. lol
I must pout- the Tribune wouldn’t let me read the article with out signing into something, and something about my next born child… I has a sad.

Well, that doesn’t really say much about an age gap. In my middle school, many boys were playing with Ninja Turtles while some girls were losing their virginity.
Love that article. You two make me sick in that totally over-the-moon sort of way one would vomit at your cute love.

Ok, warning: longest comment ever. I just have to say two things: I love this. And, thank you! And, perfect timing. So that was three things. But here’s why: for the last two years it seems like it’s been 99.999999908962% younger men pursuing me which, needless to say, brought up some issues for me – and absolutely 0 for the guys. The beautiful thing: they were issues I needed to look at, and realize was rooted in a double standard that was somehow picked up along the way and went unrecognized as a great big illusion. I mean, I have my “limits” within reason but seeing your family together really just gives me…confidence and a sense of comfort and freedom.
After writing this comment, I’d really like to give a shout out by saying *thank you* to all the guys who went for what they wanted. It really gave me the opportunity to be me and free from missing out on life and growth. ps: the biggest age gap I’ve experienced is 6 years. pps:would love to hear Avara’s initial response to the age gap. I am interested! Thanks guys.
