I think they make patches for caffeine addiction….Or maybe she could just take up smoking instead.

  2. Christina says:

I really hope she didn’t say that today. Cuz if she did, she needs that coffee WAY MORE than she might think she does.

Never drank coffee until post-marriage. Nothing like kids to make you a caffeine junkie.

  3. Stephanie K. says:

    I’m making coffee right now!!

  4. Laurie says:

That’s me every morning!! I get so excited for my coffee!!

  5. Katie says:

Ah, yes…that’s my house. I’m really trying to cut back, but it’s giving me headaches :(

  6. haley says:

Try yerba mate it has 1/3 of the caffeine but gets you GOING waay more than coffee. For reals.

  7. Melissa says:

ok you do know that caffeine is a drug right? that is why it is so easy to love it and so hard to stop it. i was on Ritanl for seven years and guess what is in it a crap ton of caffeine so now as an adult i drink a 12 pack of Dew in about three days if not less. Oh and i get headaches and caffeine does help with swelling too just you know but too much can cause madness. im a soda drinker cause not only do i like the caffeine but i love the sugar. i think i need to go to AC and AS.

Coffee aka mommy’s life support. I’m afraid Canadian Dad’s suggestion would not work: coffee is more way addictive than cigarettes! (Well, in my opinion at least.) Without that steaming java crutch, I wouldn’t be able to deal with all the other steaming stuff. Yesterday was particularly bad. Apparently I laundered toddler poo – round, shiny, hard and slightly perfumed. Cleaned up the machine, re-washed the clothes and had a very large cup of coffee. Re-living the story, I might have to go and have another cup. Or a mug. Maybe a jug…

Ooh! Fiona- check out the post titled “Types of Diaper Loads”! You could’ve used it… Oh, well, for future reference.

  9. Dude, a stiff cup of coffee once the kids are in bed is a nightly ritual in this house! If I try to have one at any other point in the day I end up being distracted by the kids or the two year old round house kicks it off the table.

  10. kevin says:

Coffee is next to oxygen as far as necessity !
