Redneck vs. Baby :: TheRedneckMommy.com Hosts Our Latest Instructional Diagram

Posted under INSTRUCTIONAL DIAGRAMS

It’s well-known that Rednecks dominate the cultural landscape of a good part of America. Notice I didn’t say “better”… But did you know that rednecks also inhabit Canada? Yep, the capital of beavers and bad beer, Canadia itself is home to its own brand of hick-ified yokels.

Today’s “Instructional Diagram” has been custom-designed for and is being guest-hosted by queen bee of the Canadian hayseeds, Tanis Miller, also known as The Redneck Mommy. Her juggernaut blog is bold, visceral and touching “” all the things you can get arrested for in Canada, and most of the things our blog is not.

So, we bequeath this diagram to you, Tanis, in show of our support for all that you write and all you champion with words.

We present to you…

I came over here from Tanis and now I’m in love with your blog. You guys are hilarious! 😉 I have to tell you something: when I first saw your url, I though that your site was How to Beat Dad. ;D I’m strange…

Andy should probably weigh in on this first, but since I am on here and he’s “making money”, I’ll say: I want to rename our site ‘How To Beat A Dad’. Andy?

      • andy says:

Wow. It’s a an accidental dyslexic double entendre. “How to be a dad” and “how to beat dad.” Charlie, back me up on this, doesn’t it feel like being a dad is sometimes some kind of “how to beat dad”?

Wait, maybe there’s a another entendre in there: both meanings of “beat,” in the competitive and impact sense.

        Triple entendre all the way!

Guys, you already know how much I love your site, but this tops it for me! I’m from Arkansas (probably the most “Redneck” state in our wonderful country) and I can tell you that this is the funniest, dead-on depiction of a “Redneck” I have ever seen.

Are rednecks now flocking to California? Just wondering how you guys hit the head of the nail with the spot on reference? 🙂

We spent 2 years in the wild, painstakingly studying and collecting reference notes and photographs… Ha ha! Seriously, I’m blown away. Thanks for the great compliment.

You’re welcome. Now I hear the karaoke bar calling your name!

It’s be fun to get a belt buckle as big as Capt. America’s shield and squawk out Dolly’s 9 to 5 at a karaoke bar. Well, fun for someone maybe. Tanis’ roadkill chow-down sounds more appealing to me really.

Just wanted to say I’m from Canada and am really enjoying your site.

I just thought I should chime in and say that north of the border the opinion I hear on who has the better beer is completely reversed and no where near as charitable as just calling the popular American beers bad.
